WHEELER, Thomas (ca. 1809-1871)
An engraver, watchmaker and lithographer in Toronto ca. 1847-71, he designed arms, crests and bookplates, and engraved seals.

WHITEHEAD, John (? - ?)
He was mostly known as a calligrapher and founder of the Calligraphy Society of Ottawa. He prepared the 1982 royal proclamation for the patriation of the Canadian constitution (two copies) including the arms with which it was illuminated. He joined the HSC in 1967 and wrote letters to the Editor of HC, one on the arms of Ireland in the royal arms and another on the arms of the Province of Quebec * He did calligraphy for the grants of the CHA.

WÜRTELE, Jonathan Saxton Campbell (1828-1904)
He was a lawyer, seigneur, politician, office holder, businessman, professor, and judge born at Quebec. “A staunch loyalist, he had the royal coat of arms placed above the seats of all judges in the province in 1897 and that same year he was president of the United Empire Loyalist Association of Quebec.”
